Christmas Program

We had a great program last night! The students did a fabulous job! Here are a couple pictures from the program during school.

Christmas Program

Just a reminder that tomorrow is our Christmas Program. Students need to wear Pajama's to school and to our evening performance. They also need a beanie type hat and sunglasses for both performances. Please have students there by 6:15 pm for our evening performance. We will start promptly at 6:30!

Week of December 15

This week we will be finishing up a lot of Christmas activities and be learning about how other places celebrate Christmas. We will also continue to work on our number sense unit. Our word family this week is the -ump family.

Because of the Christmas sing-a-long, and our Christmas party on Friday, I am going to give the spelling test on Thursday this week.

Thursday is our program. Please have the students wear pajama's to school and bring a beanie and sunglasses. They will need the same for that night. Students need to arrive at school by 6:15 pm. Our performance will start at 6:30 pm sharp. If you are late you will miss part of the performance!

December 8 - 12

This week our word family is the ock family. We are reviewing reading buddies, and still working on number sense.

We are now in music for our specialty.

I still have students coming with just sweatshirts to wear. It is very cold please send coats. It is a good idea to put names in coats and hats and gloves so we can help keep things with whom they belong.

Just a reminder that we are doing a Christmas program on Thursday, December 18 at 6:30 pm. Parents and other family members are invited to come.

December Info

This week our word family is the -ick family. We are working on long vowels, and continuing our unit on number sense, greater than/ less than, addition, and subtraction. We are working on publishing in writer's workshop, and Christmas activities.

Trading Post is Friday. Please fill out the reading minutes on your child's reading calendar by Thursday.

We are doing a Christmas program for parents on Thursday, December 18 it will be in the evening. When I know the exact time I will update it.
